Minevolution started out as a experiment too see how powerful the efficiency enchantment could get, and eventually became this crazy map it is now.

In Minevolution you start out in a room, with a wooden pick in your hand, and a stone block on a pedestal in front of you. You goal is now to simply break the block over and over, thereby gaining currency. Simple, right? Very!

However, the game doesn’t stop there. With this currency, you can buy “helpers” which will help you can more currency faster, as well as upgrades to help you break the stone faster and faster.

By mining the stone yourself, you will eventually upgrade your pick. By gaining more currency, you will get access to better and faster helpers.

It is a map that has a nature similar to that of the game Cookie Clicker, in that you do a simple task that is ultimately pretty pointless for currency to help you do that task faster and faster, but by giving you access to upgrades and other stuff, it creates a pretty addictive game for some people.

But where Cookie Clicker makes things more expensive the more you buy, the cost of helpers in this map stay the same, meaning you’ll quickly get a ton of currency, so chances are you ultimately won’t waste too much time before you reach the maximum potential for gaining currency.

Minevolution is a fun little map to play around with, but there is not much to actually do in the other than mine the stone, buy helpers to mine more stone faster, and buying upgrades to help you mine the stone faster (as said, ultimately, a pretty pointless task, yet somehow slightly addicting).

If you got an addictive personality, you should probably stay away from this (and Cookie Clicker!) though. You have been warned!
