Locked in a cold cell. Left to rot alone. And now the dead have taken over the prison. Just perfect!
In Dead Prison 2, you are the sole survivor of an apparent zombie-outbreak in the prison where you have been incarcerated. Your crimes are unknown, the fate of the rest of the world is unknown, all you do know is that you got to escape, and fast, unless you want to end up a mindless zombie.
To escape, you will have to find the 6 generators scattered around the prison, and then turn them on using a lever. Levers are not always easy to find, so the task can be daunting. That is not all though, as when you do power all 6 generators on, you will have to find the security center and open the main gate that leads you to your freedom.
The task is not easy, as there are many prisoners who have been turned undead, not to mention the staff and guards. But some items have been left behind to aid you in your journey:
First of all, the levers (“keys”). These can be used to open and activate doors, gates, turrets, and of course the generators. They can be found around the place, often in chests, but some are also dropped by zombies.
Next up are the painkillers. For all intents and purposes, a healing potion, instantly regenerates a portion of your health.
You can also find adrenaline shots, these give you a speed boost as well as a boost to strength or regeneration.
Grenades are also hidden away somewhere, these will deal a lot of damage to groups of zombies, so keep them handy.
Stun grenades will weaken their targets, making them easier to take down.
Finally, there are molotovs around, these will burn your enemies, slowly draining their health.
There are also some rules for the map:
- Do not break any blocks of any type. No. Breaking.
- Do not use any mods and do not cheat, it’s not fun that way.
- Only place levers on certain blocks, you can see which in the intro part of the map.
Dead Prison 2 is also non-linear, which means that you can chose whichever route you want, there is not a “correct” route or order, just go where you please. The map is also meant to be played alone, which means that playing with friends isn’t supported.
