This map actually contains more than one airborne battlecarrier, three in fact, each pretty awesome on their own, but that much more impressive when coupled together.
Now if you don’t know what an airborne battlecarrier is, then let me tell you. An airborne battlecarrier is what you would get if you took an aircraft carrier, combined it with a battleship, so that it is combat ready as well as having the ability to launch its own aircraft, and then made that combo airborne, so the whole thing would become an aircraft itself. Pretty damn awesome.
Not all three ships are battlecarriers though, the battlecarrier can be found in between the two other ships, which are both airborne cruisers, meant to support the main battlecarrier.
The ships are not just facades either, they all have functional interiors, with various rooms the crew could need, such as cabins, lobbies, a conference room, cargo and ammo rooms, hangars, an infirmary, cockpits, police station, shops, toilets, kitchens, shootings ranges, laboratories and much more.
Admittedly, not everything is furnished, but you will still be able to find some cool rooms, and the ships even have engine rooms complete with loud engine sounds. So don’t fret if you stumble over an empty room, the creator just ran out of ideas with those.
In that sense, the ships are fully functional, except that they don’t actually do anything, other than sit tight and look pretty, and being fun to explore and marvel at. But if you are on the lookout for a cool new base of operations, why not chose a small fleet of awesome airborne battlecarriers?
The map is also complete with default generated terrain below it, so although it is a creative map, you can still turn it into a useful survival map without running into weird borders or generated terrain, or add to the ships in creative mode.
