In TIMETRAP, your goal is to survive for as long as possible, and to do that, you gotta start crafting!
This map is not just about having food and shelter, nor about defending yourself from enemies, because here, in this map, time itself is against you.
Once the map starts, you get 30 minutes to craft, build, and survive. Now imagine normal Minecraft, with all the stuff you gotta do to survive, have food, fend of zombies and skeletons and so on, only now, you also have to build certain blocks in order extend your time.
These blocks are:
To extend your time, craft one of these blocks and then stand on it. This will give you more time, the better the block, the more time you get. Should your timer reach 0, you’ll die and will no longer be able to play.
The map is both playable in singleplayer and multiplayer, and of course, multiplayer is the most fun, as you can then share time (timeshare hehe), fight each other, help each other, and generally have a bit more fun.
To transfer time, you and the player you want to transfer time with need to stand at the same coordinates (the same block). The player who wants to get time has to look straight up, and the player who wants to give time must look straight down. Simple and easy!
Another way to get time is to PvP. Every time you kill someone, you get half the time they had left, so for example, if you kill a guy who has 4 hours left, you get 2 hours by killing him. As I said, it’s a dangerous game!
You start the map on a platform in the sky, and to start, you simple have to move to the green area. This will start the countdown clock of 30 minutes.
